Soldier On was founded in 2006 to provide resources and opportunities to retired and serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces with an illness or injury to accept their new normal by adopting an active lifestyle.
Graham Proctor is the mastermind behind St. Andrews Legacy – an opportunity for ill and injured Canadian services members who use golf as part of their recovery to benefit from a trip to St. Andrews, Scotland.

Specified Roofing was delighted to be included in this golf tournament at Beacon Hall. A beautiful day coupled with the opportunity to support a worthy cause! As Jim Mitchell, Chairman of the Planning Committee said . . .
“Golf can be a wonderful game to create friendships and memories. It is also a wonderful game to help our veterans celebrate their lives and to let them know that we care about them and we stand with them.”
Our group included Retired Master Corporal Paul Adams, who made his first hole-in-one as Todd Gouett (President/General Manager, Specified Roofing) looks on.
Way to go, Paul!
and, by the way, you rock those spiffy argyle socks!
We’d like to share this with you. One of the Soldier On program participants recently reported that the two days he’d spent playing golf at Crail and visiting the Open championship had done more for his rehabilitation than anything else.
Please consider supporting this incredibly positive cause. They “pass it forward” in such a great way! Visit Soldier On or view the video (below) to find out more about them and their special events.
